Social Data Analytics

SERVICES/SOCIAL / DATA / ANALYTICS

Social activity produces a steady stream of signals, but likes, followers, and impressions alone do not explain what to do next. Roaring Media’s Social Data Analytics service audits measurement, organizes available channel and business data, and interprets performance against your goals—so your team can understand what happened, why it may have happened, and what is worth testing next.

Social Data Analytics

At a glance

A practical measurement and intelligence program connecting available social, content, campaign, audience, website, and CRM signals to clearer decisions.

The opportunity

Social activity produces a steady stream of signals, but likes, followers, and impressions alone do not explain what to do next. Roaring Media’s Social Data Analytics service audits measurement, organizes available channel and business data, and interprets performance against your goals—so your team can understand what happened, why it may have happened, and what is worth testing next.

What the work is designed to support

A shared view of social performance, its limits, and the next useful actions—without treating correlation or platform attribution as proof of incremental revenue.

A good fit for

Marketing, communications, and leadership teams with active social programs whose data is fragmented across channels, campaigns, content, analytics, and customer systems. Useful for organizations that need clearer measurement, audience and content insight, reputation context, or a more careful view of how social activity relates to qualified leads and business outcomes.

Diagnosis

We review the social accounts, tracking, campaign labels, reporting, listening questions, audience definitions, permissions, and business questions in scope. The audit looks for inconsistent naming, duplicated or missing events, unclear KPI definitions, access gaps, and reporting that describes activity without informing a decision.

Approach

We create a measurement framework around agreed objectives, with clear metric definitions and distinct views for channel, content, campaign, audience, reputation, and leadership decisions. Where client-authorized access and provider capabilities allow, relevant social data can be considered alongside website analytics, advertising, CRM, lead management, or call outcomes. Each source's coverage, update timing, and limitations remain visible.

Delivery

Depending on agreed scope, work can include an audit, tracking and taxonomy recommendations, dashboard requirements or configuration, content and campaign analysis, public-source listening, documented interpretation, and working sessions with the people who use the findings. This is an analytics and advisory service; it does not by itself mean Roaring Media operates a continuously staffed, live analytics platform or provides an established vendor integration.

Measurement

Reviews use agreed indicators such as data availability and freshness, KPI trends, content and audience patterns, qualified lead signals, reporting usefulness, and whether findings informed a next action or test. Results distinguish observed data from estimates, modeled values, human interpretation, and platform-attributed conversions. Conclusions depend on access, historical data, privacy constraints, tracking quality, and the agreed team, client, and source scope.

What does Social Data Analytics include?

Depending on scope, it can include a social measurement audit, KPI framework, analysis of available organic and paid social data, content and audience reporting, public-source listening, dashboard planning or configuration, and recurring interpretation. Access, deliverables, and reporting cadence are agreed for each engagement.

Which channels and platforms can you analyze?

Potential sources depend on the platforms your organization uses, client-authorized account access, available APIs and reporting, provider rules, and the engagement scope. We assess source feasibility rather than promise complete coverage or assume a particular vendor integration.

Can you combine social data with website or CRM outcomes?

Where tracking is suitable and the client authorizes access to compatible website, CRM, call, or sales data, we can assess relationships between social activity and downstream outcomes. Missing identifiers, consent choices, incomplete history, and attribution methods limit linkage; reported attribution is not proof of causation.

Does social listening capture every conversation or private message?

No. Listening is limited to public or otherwise explicitly authorized sources and the coverage those sources make available. It does not imply collection of private conversations, and results can omit sources, posts, or historical periods.

How accurate is automated sentiment analysis?

Automated classifications can misread sarcasm, context, slang, language, and industry terminology, and the underlying sample may be incomplete. We treat sentiment as a directional signal, label limitations, and use human review for findings that could drive important decisions.

Can you predict which posts or campaigns will perform best?

No precise prediction is promised. If relevant historical data is sufficient, analysis may identify patterns or estimate possible ranges as decision support. Those estimates are uncertain and should be tested against actual results.

Do you provide a live dashboard and real-time monitoring?

Dashboard planning or configuration and alert workflows may be included when agreed and technically supported. This service does not automatically provide a continuously operated analytics platform or real-time coverage across all sources; refresh timing and monitoring depend on platform access, data availability, and scope.

Can analytics show that social generated revenue?

It may be possible to report platform-attributed, modeled, or tracked conversions when the relevant data exists, but these are not interchangeable with independently verified incremental revenue. We label attribution methods and limitations; revenue and return are not guaranteed.

Can social leads receive email or SMS follow-up?

Analytics does not itself authorize follow-up. Email or SMS use requires separate, channel-appropriate permissions and must also follow the client's policies and applicable requirements. Any campaign or automation work must be separately scoped.
