The opportunity
Turn business goals into a practical marketing plan your team can put to work. Strategy & Operations brings priorities, roadmaps, workflows, technology, data, and ownership into one usable operating model—connecting strategic decisions with day-to-day execution without assuming every implementation task is included.
What the work is designed to support
A scoped strategy and operating-model plan that clarifies priorities, owners, workflows, systems, and measures. Implementation and business results depend on the agreed scope, available resources, data, and external conditions; outcomes are not guaranteed.
A good fit for
Organizations that need to connect business objectives to marketing priorities and practical execution—especially teams facing competing initiatives, unclear handoffs, disconnected tools, inconsistent processes, or uncertainty about what their reporting can support.
Diagnosis
We learn the business objectives, audience and customer journey, current marketing activity, team responsibilities, technology, workflows, available data, and decision needs. Any audit or assessment is defined by the engagement scope and access; findings distinguish verified information from assumptions and data limitations.
Approach
We translate priorities into a roadmap and practical operating model: initiative owners, decision rights, planning cadence, campaign workflow, system roles, documentation, and measures. The design builds on useful existing capabilities and can identify where specialist CRM, marketing, analytics, or technology work should be scoped separately.
Delivery
Depending on the agreed scope, deliverables may include a strategy, roadmap, process maps, technology recommendations, responsibility framework, SOPs, measurement plan, or dashboard requirements. Implementation, campaign execution, and interim leadership are optional scoped work—not automatic inclusions—and require suitable access, approvals, and internal participation.
Measurement
We define operational and marketing measures that fit the available systems and data, review data quality and known attribution gaps, and use reporting to inform decisions. Dashboards can organize observed signals; they cannot establish perfect attribution or guarantee forecast accuracy, ROI, revenue growth, faster execution, a particular timeline, or other results.
What do you mean by a marketing operating system?
It is a practical operating model for planning, assigning, delivering, measuring, and improving marketing work—not a software product. It may describe priorities, roles, workflows, tools, and decision rhythms that fit your organization.
What can a strategy and operations engagement include?
Depending on agreed scope, it may include strategic planning, a roadmap, workflow or journey maps, technology recommendations, ownership and SOPs, quarterly planning, and a measurement framework. Specific reviews and deliverables are agreed in advance.
Does this replace your CRM & Automation service?
No. Strategy & Operations can include optional, high-level alignment around shared lifecycle, ownership, and reporting definitions. CRM architecture, configuration, integrations, migration, and automation implementation are separate scoped work and may be addressed through CRM & Automation.
Do you audit our entire marketing stack?
A technology review can be included when specified in the engagement scope. Its coverage depends on agreed systems, access, documentation, and technical requirements; recommendations can identify options without requiring a replacement.
Are implementation and interim leadership included?
Not automatically. Implementation, campaign execution, ongoing operations, or interim leadership must be specifically scoped, authorized, and supported by suitable access, approvals, people, and resources.
Can you automate every process with AI?
No. We consider whether automation or AI is appropriate for a defined task and include human review, accountability, permissions, and exception handling where needed. AI or automation build work is only included when agreed.
Can dashboards provide perfect attribution or accurate forecasts?
No. Reporting quality depends on available systems, tracking, data quality, privacy constraints, platform reporting, and customer behavior. Attribution is limited and should be interpreted as an estimate; dashboards do not guarantee forecast accuracy or establish causation.
Does lifecycle planning include sending email or SMS?
Journey planning can inform channel choices, but email or SMS campaign delivery is separately scoped. Email and SMS permissions and consent requirements must be handled separately for each channel and applicable rules.
Do you guarantee growth, ROI, faster execution, or a timeline?
No. Revenue growth, execution speed, perfect attribution, forecast accuracy, ROI, timelines, and other results depend on many factors and are not guaranteed. Scope, access, resources, data, decisions, and external conditions affect delivery and outcomes.
